Scents

Various scents are toxic to birds. Keep your bird away from these in when in use. Here is a list

*Cleaning Sprays

*Kitchen cleaners

*Furniture Polish

*Drain openers

*Fireplaces

*Scented tissues and toilet papers (can be kept in same room but never let your bird chew or play with scented types)

NEVER USE ANY OF THESE IN YOUR HOUSE!

*Scented candles (regular are OK, but keep flames away)

*Air fresherners

*Carpet Freshners (you can buy ones safe for birds)

*Potpourri

*Glue Guns

*Tobacco

*Anything that is nonstick PTFE, remember pots and pans are not the only ones, but they are the most common.

*Aerosol Sprays (all)

*Anti-freeze
